G€N€ IR€LAND

G€N€ IR€LAND® is the Irish progeny testing program that was first launched in April 2005 with the establishment of the Dairy scheme. This was followed in the spring of 2007 with the start of the Beef progeny test program.

It is a joint venture involving ICBF and the AI companies and herdbooks wishing to provide bulls to either program.

Additional funding is also provided by the National Development Plan (NDP) and FBD trust.
